Please get those payments in!

It's getting close to the deadline, and several people haven't sent in there RSVP/ Payment for the reunion. This is just a friendly nudge to get everyone to drop 'em in the mail.

Letters are in the mail!

Everyone should be recieving the following letter in the mail soon (I'll post it here incase someone hasn't recieved theirs yet) :

This letter is to you to inform you of our upcoming 5 YEAR REUNION. It will be held on Friday October 14^th, 2005 at Claudia Sanders in Shelbyville, Ky. The Reunion will begin at 7:00 pm and continue until Midnight. There will be a DJ with dance floor, a buffet style dinner, a pay per drink bar, and possibly a few other activities/ entertainment items yet to be determined.

The cost for a admittance will be $30.00 per person (this means any date/ spouse you bring will also cost $30.00) Please be assured that while this price may seem a bit high, it is necessary in order to cover all of the expenses of the reunion. Also, all money will be handled through an account set up for our class, and not through any one individual. Please send your RSVP and payment as soon as possible. The deadline for mailing your payment is September 5^th, 2005. We need monetary funds to cover deposits for our vendors, and these deposits must be made right away . We also need to determine the exact number of people that will be eating so we can pay Claudia Sanders accordingly. We would also like to make it clear that due to the fact almost every penny of the ticket sales will go towards paying the vendors, NO REFUNDS will be available once you have purchased your ticket(s).

Here are a few other snippets of info we’d like everyone to keep in mind:

- No Children. We love them, but this is an “Adult’s Night Out.”

- Please drink responsible. Alcohol will be available, and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. What we don’t want is anyone getting into an accident as a result of the Reunion. To help keep this in mind, everyone will be required to sign a short document stating that they absolve the Reunion Committee of any liabilities concerning substance abuse by individuals during the event.

- The buffet style dinner is included in the price of admission. It will feature Claudia Sander’s famous Fried Chicken, a side salad, yeast rolls, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and beverages. We are also looking into having cake for dessert, if our budget allows.

- If anyone has pictures of class members that they would like to submit for displays at the Reunion, feel free to send them in with your payment. Be sure to put your name, address, and phone number on the back of each picture if you want them returned.

- Once again, to drive the point home, THE DEADLINE FOR SENDING IN YOUR PAYMENT IS SEPTEMBER 5^TH, 2005! And the sooner, the better.

- At the conclusion of this letter, you will find a form to send with your payment. Please complete it and send it in with your check (made out to “HCHS CLASS OF 2000”) to:

We hope that everyone is able to attend. It will be great to catch up with everyone and have some fun. If you have any questions at all, call or email us right away. We’ll be happy to answer them. Also, if there is anyone you know of in our graduating class that has not received a notice of the reunion, please have them contact us. We don’t want anyone to be left out, but unfortunately, a few people have not responded to our previous letters.
